Hike | Pinnacle Peak | Phoenix — Arizona Hikers Guide

Pinnacle Peak Park is incredibly easy to find by plugging in the address to GPS. There is a pretty large parking lot but also street parking. The trailhead offers bathrooms, water, and an information station for hikers. There are picnic tables and plenty of shade.

Dogs are not allowed on the trail, but kids will find the trail easy to navigate and there are plenty of places to stop along the trail. The trail has markers along the entire route to help in emergency situations as well as information plaques on the plant life along the trail.

Overall, every peak offers a great view of the city in every direction. The trail is really well maintained and posted and park volunteers walk the trail if you need assistance. And with scenic lookouts along the trail, there are plenty of places to stop and take photos or rest for a bit.

Please follow Leave No Trace Principles by taking only pictures and leaving only footprints.

Make sure to take water! This trail doesn’t offer much shade during the daytime.

At the trailhead, there are jugs of water for the new plants along the trail. Take a jug or two and make your hike even more of a workout!
